Our story started with our Founder Maddie Thompson

MAD Social is the culmination of a lifelong passion for creativity and business acumen. Starting as a young fashion design intern at just 13, Maddie's entrepreneurial spirit was ignited early on, leading her to launch a clothing brand at 16.

Years later recognizing her knack for digital marketing, she founded MAD Social Agency to disrupt a market and help businesses make their mark online.

Maddie envisioned MAD Social as a Winnipeg and Toronto based full-service digital marketing powerhouse, specializing in crafting authentic, high-impact content that delivers measurable results.

Maddie is the Founder of the Mad Social Agency. Maddie’s entrepreneurial roots stem back to high school where she piloted her first business, Social Clothing. When she realized how effective her self-taught marketing techniques were, based on the rapid results she was getting, she decided to try social media marketing as a freelance business. In the matter of a few months, she needed extra help because she was gaining traction faster than she had ever anticipated so she took on her first employee. In early 2021 Maddie stepped away from her day job to pursue her second business, Mad Social Agency, as a full-time business.

Bailey is a marketing student at the University of Winnipeg hoping to broaden her skills in the marketing world! She has always been very creative and is excited to be able to put her creative side to the test! Along with graphic design, and social media experience, she is the director of social media for the University of Winnipeg Business Association. A fun fact about Bailey is that she is super into fashion and always scoping out the next trends!
