The Gig.

As a Social Media Manager at MAD, you own a full load of client accounts end-to-end, strategy, shoots, posts, community, and you delegate the right work to editors, designers, and assistants on your own, without being told how. We hand you the clients and the systems; you run them like they're yours.

This is a real rung on our team ladder, a step above Junior SMM, with Senior SMM next. We hire fast, we back you with an in-house ops team, and top performers move up quickly.

Who This Is For.

• You've got 1 to 2 years managing social accounts, or you're moving up internally from SMM Assistant / Junior SMM with a clean track record.
• You can own a full client load solo, nobody checking your work or telling you what to post next.
• You're comfortable delegating to editors, designers, and assistants, and keeping them on deadline.
• You love the craft but have zero interest in sales calls, pitching, or finding your own clients.
• You're Canadian-based and want a defined role with a real path up, Senior SMM, Pod Lead, and beyond.

What You'll Do.

• Own a full load of client accounts, end-to-end
• Run client comms over WhatsApp and lead client meetings on your own
• Build shot lists, strategy docs, and content calendars
• Direct content shoots
• Delegate edits, graphics, and tasks across editors, designers, and assistants, and keep them on deadline
• Schedule and post across all your accounts
• Handle light graphic design when it's faster to do it yourself
• Engage communities and grow accounts with data-backed strategy

What You Bring.

• 1 to 2 years managing social accounts with real results, or an internal promotion from SMM Assistant / Junior SMM with a clean track record
• A track record of running accounts fully independently, with zero hand-holding
• Comfort delegating to and coordinating editors, designers, and assistants
• Content-shoot experience, you know how to direct a content day
• Sharp communication and an eye for data-driven decisions
• An understanding of how psychology drives video performance
• Thick skin, a fast-learning mindset, and a genuine love for social, this isn't just "a job" for you

What You Won't Have to Do.

• Find your own clients
• Manage backend ops, scheduling, or invoicing
• Sit through pitch calls or chase new business

How You Move Up.

SMM isn't the ceiling, it's the launchpad. You grow into Senior SMM and beyond by training newer team members and growing your client load with an assistant beside you, all without letting relationship quality slip for the clients you already run. Do that consistently and the next rung is yours.

Our Rules.

Compensation: $22 to $24.50/hr, based on experience.
